Want to help victims of single family fires?

Want to help East Texas become better prepared?

Want to do your part in the war on terror?

Want to do something rewarding in your spare time?


VOLUNTEER!

VOLUNTEER CATAGORIES


 

 DISASTER SERVICE- You can help local families who are victims of single-family house fires by becoming a Disaster Action Team Member. Training is provided. You will be on duty one week per month to give emergency assistance to families in need.

EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS- Be on call to verify emergency messages and link families with their loved ones in military service. Workers needed for night and weekend duty. Red Cross will teach you how to help. 


 

TEACH LIFE SAVING SKILLS- Volunteers are needed to teach first aide and CPR classes to the general public. Training is available.

CLERICAL SUPPORT- Answer the telephone, provide information to callers and visitors and do course registrations. This is a great way to learn about American Red Cross and the community!


COMMUNITY EVENTS- Attend health fairs, parades, speak to groups about American Red Cross. Use your social skills to educate our community about American Red Cross services.
